I live a short distance away in the community of Blythewood with my wife Evelyn and daughter Laurin. We attend St. Marks Lutheran Church where I serve as congregational president. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and golf. I am a member of the Blythewood Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and serve as a committee member. A Columbia native, I have worked in the Midlands area since graduating from the University of South Carolina with a business degree. I look forward to sharing with you the many opportunities Lake Wateree has to offer with its beautiful lake lots and homes or finding that perfect buyer for your home. Please give me a call or email me so that I may help you with your needs!

Hello! I am Kim Puckett and I have lived and played around Lake Wateree all of my life. I live and grew up in a near-by community called Great Falls. I graduated from Winthrop University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a major in design. I was vice-president of my sorority, Delta Zeta, and I am still an active alumni member. I am a youth leader at my church, Mt. Zion Baptist, and I am enjoying my second year as a volunteer girl scout where I am the troop leader for the Daisy Scouts. I have spent endless summer hours on these waters, and couldn't love it here anymore than if I were a permanent resident, which someday I hope to be! I left corporate America and started working with Lake Wateree Properties in the summer of 2006. The change has been exciting, and nothing could make me happier than spending my "work-days" on this beautiful lake! I can tell you anything that you want to know about this lake and the surrounding areas. Give me a call or come by the office and I'll show you why Lake Wateree is such a gem. In the hustle and bustle of busy lives, you need a place to get away from it all. Let me help you find that place, and you'll see why I say "Life's too short to live just anywhere!" Come see me today!

After moving to SC in 1985, I soon graduated from USC then worked with NCR in West Columbia as a software engineer. My husband and I moved to beautiful Lake Wateree in '89 after living up-river on Fishing Creek. My co-workers couldn't imagine why I would live so far away from work until I explained to them that living at Wateree is like living on permanent vacation! I couldn't imagine living anywhere else! 10 years later I found myself trying to juggle 3 full time jobs - NCR, building a family business, and raising 2 munchkins, so I paused my computer career and decided to focus on family and friends. My husband had been selling real estate on Lake Wateree since 1989 as a Russell & Jeffcoat agent based out of Columbia. We knew what Wateree has to offer to families and decided to focus our business efforts solely on Lake Wateree in 1997. It was disconcerting - at that time, Lake Wateree Properties was the only real estate company here and they closed down half the year since business was so seasonal. Nevertheless, we bought Lake Wateree Properties from Morris & Jean Harwell and we were amazed at how BUSINESS GREW! Two things I will never regret: First -- raising my kids on Lake Wateree! This area is still far enough away from everything. I've come to cherish my childhood country surroundings of picking butterbeans, feeding the cows, hanging out with cousins. And my kids now cherish their childhood surroundings of great neighbors, NO traffic, immense beauty, amazing sunsets & moon rises, star scattered skies while warming by the fire pit, seeing the eagles soar and hearing the great blue herons squawk, chasing fireflies, seeing fish spawn, catching (and eating) fish, watching the egrets fly in to roost, boating, enjoying community events -- living in the country. Secondly, I'll never regret leaving a profitable career in computers and focusing on our family business. Morris and I believed we could make a difference by helping others attain a lifestyle we've come to cherish and by dealing honestly and honorably with others. The wonderful after-effect of this is the many clients who have become cherished friends and neighbors and make life even more enjoyable living at Lake Wateree.
